The first day of competition was fun and challenging. Our team got together to have an early dinner before last night's team event. We had a great dinner at Fuzio in the Sands Casino, and just before we headed to the National Bowling Stadium, we got together to have a quick team meeting. We ran over what we are here to do and what the game plan is. We discussed communicate and staying focused at the task at hand. We got through our March out to the lanes, which still stirs up a little butterflies in my stomach every time I do that. We got to our lanes, got set up and waited for the practice to start. We are on our way to Reno. Boarding the flight was good. Little slow, but we had a full flight. You know Delta now offers WI Fi. Sweet!!! Well you have to love the tight cramped seats, but they are leather so that’s a plus. I left Detroit about 10 minutes behind schedule, but I’m sure we will make it up in the air. I am on my way to great Salt Lake City Utah. Have about a 40 minutes lay over before I board the flight to Reno. I will continue blogging when I get to Reno. I should be the last to arrive into Reno. The rest of my teammates have already arrived between Wed and Saturday. I should be the last one in. I will be getting all of us together to get a nice dinner as a team, talk about how we are feeling and what the plans are for tomorrow.
