On the lanes… Since this is the first Storm ball in the Master line that I have thrown since the Gravity Shift, I was excited to see what this ball could do. Well, I wasn't at all disappointed! The Dimension is going to have competitors looking at this ball. It has a tremendous amount of power, combined with versatility. I had a great look with this ball from multiple angles. The Dimension is power and hook all in one. It has great mid lane roll with a very strong motion out of the oil line. I personally liked how controllable it was in the back end. It was strong, but not "flippy" I can honestly say that the Dimension hits harder than any other Storm ball that I have tested. Once the Dimension hits the lanes, the pins don't stand a chance.
In conclusion… The Dimension will work well on heavier volumes of oil or longer patterns, as well as PBA experience league shots. Dimension would be a good fit with the stroker or tweener bowler on these types of patterns. Crankers will have to adjust the surface unless bowling on heavier oil or a longer pattern. I truly believe Storm has found a great cover stock and core combination with the Dimension. They have created a bowling ball that has the same motions as asymmetric cores but in a symmetric core. I look forward to the next Storm ball that they use this concept with. Their catch phrase says it best, "Send your game into the next Dimension."
So…where is your game?
