On your shelf or counter… The Second Dimension is a truly rich looking bowling ball. This ball is definitely going to turn heads with its polished cover stock and eye catching color combination. The fragrance of this ball is also superb! What’s more American than Apple Pie?

On the lanes… I tested the Second Dimension on an Anvilane surface after the center’s leagues bowled so that I could see this ball work on a drier condition. The new cover read the friction but didn’t over react on the dry. Once I found the dry the ball seemed to make an aggressive, but predictable move. It wasn’t the skid/flip motion I had anticipated but more of a continuous strong arc to the pocket. The volume of oil left on the lanes didn’t allow me to square my shot up but I had no problem covering a lot of boards with this ball. There really wasn’t any part of the lane I moved to, that the ball didn’t recover from. When I tested it on a fresh condition, I noticed I needed to alter the surface in order to get back from fourth arrow. The pin carry with this ball was simply amazing.

In conclusion… The Second Dimension will be a great compliment to anyone who is throwing the original Dimension. This ball combines great power, movement and unbelievable carry. I believe this can be the power players “go-to” ball on your typical house pattern. Bowlers with medium rev rates can use this ball for squaring up on the lane and still count on the Second Dimension to swing it and bring it when the lanes demand that.
