Twisted Fury Destruction by Brunswick

GLC Bowling is proud to present you with another “Celebrity Guest” ball review. We hope to offer you more of these reviews completed by bowlers YOU know! Be ready, we could ask you next!

On your shelf or counter… The Twisted Fury Destruction stands out from the other two balls in the Twisted Fury line with its Pacific Blue and Chrome two color pearl cover. It is a great compliment of colors that will get your customer's attention and let them know that the Twisted Fury is back for more pin crushing destruction!

On the lanes… The Twisted Fury Destruction with its XLerator cover stock was developed with a couple of objectives in mind. The first goal was to get exceptional length through the heads on the fresh and also even after the heads have burned up. The second was to make a strong move on the back end for greater pin carry. I can tell you first hand that this ball does just that…it never quits! I tested this ball on a fresh house condition and when the ball entered the pocket, it was like a hot knife through melted butter. It was 10 straight back every time. Once the lanes started breaking down, I could move left and get a little more firm with my ball speed and the 10's started snapping out just the way I like to see. Even at the end of the set when the lanes were pretty toasty, I was only 5 boards left of where I started and the ball never lost any "hit".

In conclusion… I found that the Twisted Fury Destruction, with its ease of getting through the heads, allowed the ball to store up considerable energy and allowed me to carry many more half pocket hits than I normally would. This ball improves on the already impressive original Twisted Fury and is even cleaner down the lane with more power on the back end. Where other balls would hit weak, the Twisted Fury Destruction had a strong, angular motion in the back end and the end result was a lot less spares to shoot at. And isn't that really what we're all trying to do…get it done in one shot?
