I tested the new Virtual Energy on a fresh typical house shot on Anvil lane surface. Once I got loose I got to see what this ball can do. First thing I noticed is that it has more angularity than that of the Virtual Gravity. As you can image because it has the same core as the Virtual Gravity, the carry was the same…AWESOME! A few things I did notice was that the new Virtual Energy didn’t have as early of a mid lane reaction of that of the Virtual Gravity, but with it being a hybrid polished cover I didn’t expect that. One thing that is definitely dominant is the Storm back end reaction that we have all grown to love. Once I squared up a bit from the Virtual Gravity, this ball read the break point with tremendous and flawless expectations.

This new addition to Storm’s Premier Line is going to be a great seller. It provides good length with great back end reaction. This ball will not serve well on heavy or large volume oil patterns, but that’s what the Virtual Gravity is for. Once you break the lanes down a little you have a great next go to ball in your bag with the Virtual Energy. Looks like Storm has found another great combination with the Virtual Gravity and Virtual Energy. Bowlers of all styles will find a place in their bags for this one. Put this one in your bag next to your heavy oil ball and you will have a definite advantage on the lanes.
