Brunswick is keeping things simple this year with their high performance and pro performance line’s color scheme. It’s simple, but looks great!
On the lanes…
This ball was tested and compared to Brunswick’s Siege to see the differences in ball reaction. I have to say that Brunswick has come out with a great combination with the addition of the Siege and Wild Thing this year. I tested this on a fresh house pattern on Anvil lane bowling surface. What I saw from the Wild Thing is a 6 to 8 board difference than compared to the Siege. I was able to have predictable ball motion down the lane while still being able to stay square with the lane. I did try to move inside with this bowling ball but it did not have the amount of mid lane recovery as that of the Siege. Once I moved and played the lanes tighter, I found tremendous pin carry with a very controllable and predictable ball motion down the lane.
In conclusion…
The new Wild Thing is going to be a great bowling ball for those that are looking for a little less mid lane traction, but are still looking for a strong carrying bowling ball. I believe all styles will like this bowling ball with it’s out of the box finish. The new Wild Thing will be a great bowling ball on those medium oil house patterns as well as for those tougher sport shot patterns. Once again Brunswick has totally impressed me with their new bowling ball line this year. And I can not stress this enough, if you haven’t bought Brunswick in a while, you better do so this year!
