We are on our way to Reno. Boarding the flight was good. Little slow, but we had a full flight. You know Delta now offers WI Fi. Sweet!!! Well you have to love the tight cramped seats, but they are leather so that’s a plus. I left Detroit about 10 minutes behind schedule, but I’m sure we will make it up in the air. I am on my way to great Salt Lake City Utah. Have about a 40 minutes lay over before I board the flight to Reno. I will continue blogging when I get to Reno. I should be the last to arrive into Reno. The rest of my teammates have already arrived between Wed and Saturday. I should be the last one in. I will be getting all of us together to get a nice dinner as a team, talk about how we are feeling and what the plans are for tomorrow. Well I landed into Reno on schedule. The shuttle to the Sands was on Time, and everything was great. I got to check out the Bowler’s Lounge at the Sand’s where they cater to the bowlers. You finally get some recognition using your USBC Sanction card. My teammates and I went out to grab a buffet dinner, which is what you do when you go out of town, hit the buffets! After we got done with dinner some of us went back to our rooms while others went to do a little gambling. Around 8:30 we went to the stadium to watch the 8:30 team event. There was one team that was working a game plan similar to what our team has been practicing. We watched them for about an hour and then headed back to our hotels for the night. I did get to see a couple of my friends that made the drive from Sacramento up to Reno. It was great to See Becky and Steve Walker, it’s been five years since I moved from California back to Detroit, and it’s always great to catch up with some old friends. I am getting ready to call this one a day, and I do have to say that I am just getting more excited to bowl with every hour that passes. I hit the lanes tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. pst so if you want to watch us on bowl.com we will be on lanes 15-16. Beofre I wrap this up, I do have to give a shout out to my wonderful woman Shannon.
